BEST 5-STAR & LUXURY HOTELS ON CROATIA’S ADRIATIC COAST

Croatia completely exceeded our expectations, exploring the 2 most popular and exciting locations on the luxe traveller map.

We spent a full week in Dubrovnik, followed by another week in Hvar, exploring the historic sites, reviewing hotels and restaurants, and soaking up the Adriatic coastline. The transition between the two was part of the experience — we caught the ferry from Dubrovnik across to Hvar, arriving into one of the most glamorous harbour scenes in Europe.

Dubrovnik feels cinematic and historic — medieval stone walls, terracotta rooftops and dramatic sea cliffs. It’s a rare heritage site that is on sightseers' lists. Hvar, on the other hand, feels like a luxury island playground — superyachts lining the marina, beach clubs buzzing by day and sunset cocktails overlooking the Pakleni Islands. It was one of our favourite places to ever visit.

Together, they offer the perfect blend of culture and coastal luxury.

Here are the best hotels across both destinations.
